This year's event, taking place from August 8th to 13th, is sure to be another exciting one with a large fleet expected to compete.

The venue for the event, Sandusky Bay and Lake Erie is known for its great sailing conditions and is the perfect place to host a large one-design event. With over 40 boats expected, the competition is sure to be tight.

In addition to the great sailing, plenty of other activities keep everyone entertained on and off the water. The downtown area of Sandusky is home to many new bars and restaurants, and the nearby islands are a great place to explore. And of course, no visit to Sandusky would be complete without a trip to the world-famous Cedar Point Amusement Park, truly one of the world's top amusement parks with at least a half-dozen insane roller coasters. So, bring the family!

So, whether you're coming to sail or to spectate, there's something for everyone in Sandusky! We hope to see you all in August 2023 for the J/24 North American Championships!

J/24 World Championship day 3
'Honeybadger' team move into the lead Sailboat racing is a game of skill, but also a game of luck. It takes skill to make a boat go fast for an entire race. It takes skill to pick the best side of the racecourse. But sometimes the "best side" fades away. Posted on 4 Oct
