A light breeze in the morning forced a postponement on shore. The Race Committee removed the AP flag at 13:50, sending both fleets to the course for two new races in the afternoon with around 6-8 knots from NE - ENE. The second set of races were shortened though due to lack of wind.

Apprentice Master Jon Emmett GBR (5-1-1) rounded a perfect score today and leads the Radial championship with 7 points. Elisa Boschin ITA (4-2-6) is second overall and Women's leader with 12. Third place overall for Master sailor Alessio Marinelli ITA (3-3-12) with 18.

Radial results here.

The Laser Standard competition is led by Master Adonis Bougiouris GRE (3-1-5) with 9 points, escorted on provisional podium by Great Masters Roberto Bini ITA (6-2-2) and Carlos Martinez ESP (4-3-3) with 10.

Standard results here.

John Curran interview:

The forecast for Wednesday is medium winds for the first time in the event, so let's see how this impacts on the sailors' performance!
