2025 International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte set to be record-breaking

by International Multihull Show 31 Jan 22:32 NZDT 23-27 April 2025

The 2025 edition of the world's largest multihull boat show is set to be a record-breaking event.

The 2025 edition of the International Multihull Show will run from 23 to 27 April in the heart of La Grande Motte, in France, where the port, a central element of the city, has been subject to a major renovation in recent months.

In order to meet the main challenges of the show, a world leader in the multihull category and therefore a major event for the international boating industry, the Fédération des Industries Nautiques has reorganised its subsidiary M2O for event organization, with Christophe Vieux coming in as General Manager, joined by Caroline Popovici, Show Director, and Anaïs David, Sales and Customer Relations Manager.

A business event for the whole multihull sector

Although registrations are still open, the show is booked up in some areas and the number of boats on display has reached an all-time record. And this 2025 edition will also be one for the premieres! To date, the organisers of the International Multihull Show expect to have 11 world premieres, including 4 powerboats, 4 European premieres, including 2 powerboats, and 1 French premiere.

A close cooperation and strong investment at regional level to attract new and qualified visitors.

The highlight for 2025 is the creation of a powercat marina dedicated to motor-powered multihulls. An ambitious project that is already promising to deliver, with a rich line-up (between 16 and 20 boats on display), which is expected to attract a new customer base, while the sailing sector itself is set to reach a record number of multis (with 60 boats on show). In addition to the boats afloat, the organisers are introducing a new demonstration area for smaller boats, toys, and electric engines. Some models will be available to be tested at sea for an immersive and unique experience. All in all, there will be over 80 boats on show afloat, whilst 2025 also marks a further strengthening of the international shipyards' attendance. Finally, the Design and Innovation area has been newly redesigned.

According to Caroline Popovici: "The International Multihull Show is a highly anticipated event that we must continue to develop. This year we will be featuring more sailing multihulls and more motor multihulls. We are delighted with the confidence that the yards, charter companies and the multihull world in general have in us, as well as our local partners, with whom we work very closely".

Exhibition registration will remain open until 7 February, 2025.
