Two Big Tris & The Ultimate Record - OnCourse Ep37

Shortly after the biggest fleet of single handed sailors set of on the legendary Vendée Globe Race, the non-stop race around the world, two giant 32m long Ultim trimarans with full crew set out on their separate bids to lay down a new record time for a lap of the planet and win the Jules Verne Trophy.

SVR Lazartigue and Sodebo started two weeks behind the IMOCA fleet but their staggering pace would they mean if all went to plan they would overtake the Vendée fleet and finish weeks ahead of the leader.

We see inside each of their campaigns as they head out to break the ultimate record.

Plus, our review of the opening event of the 2025 SailGP season in Dubai and Matt Sheahan gets aboard one of the most famous and most travelled ocean racing classic Maxis, Kialoa II.
