RS400 Rooster National Tour 2024 - Overall

The premature end of this year's season, due to the End of Seasons being cancelled sees Ian Martin & Various (Emma Clarke, Chris Martin, Jon Pinner) being crowned the Rooster National Tour champions for 2024!

Tom Halhead and Paul Hilliar finished in second, just one point behind the winners, with Ollie Groves and Esther Parkhurst rounding off the podium in third.

Another strong year for the 4's, with almost 70 boats attending at least one event, and a number of new faces appearing on the circuit. It's been a real season of extremes, with near drifters at a number of events before undoubtedly the windiest Nationals in recent times followed by a pretty breezy Inlands to round off the tour, but that has just highlighted the versatility of this fantastic boat, now in its 30th year!

Next year promises more fantastic events, with much of the Rooster National Tour revolving around our established tour events. The Springs kick off the year in mid-March at Queen Mary before a class favourite sprint event at Rutland.

We have a couple of new (for the national tour) venues are on offer for the Northern and Southern champs, in Bala and Warsash respectively, both offering a good warm up before the highlight of 2025, our National Championships and Eurocup at the incredible Royal North of Ireland YC. Our last visit was in 2019 and a rapid turn-around for our next visit was no mistake! A friendly welcome, top class racing and a great social programme are promised with entry opening early next year.

The season is once again rounded off with the Inlands at Grafham and a return to Rutland for the End of Seasons. If you have an RS400, come along and enjoy everything our class has to offer, from the racing to the socials!
