ILCA Masters European Championship 2024 at Vilamoura Sailing, Portugal - Day 4

by Prow Media 11 Oct 11:03 NZDT 7-11 October 2024

Today at the ILCA Masters European Championship, all races were unfortunately cancelled due to insufficient wind conditions.

While we always look forward to thrilling competitions on the water, the natural elements remind us that we cannot control the wind. This is part of the beauty and unpredictability of sailing.

Despite the lack of racing, participants made the most of the day by relaxing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow sailors. The spirit of the championship remains high, and everyone is looking forward to getting back on the water tomorrow.

Tomorrow's Schedule:

  • 08:30 - Coach & Sailors Meeting
  • 10:00 - First warning signal ILCA 7
  • 10:30 - First warning signal ILCA 6
  • 18:00 - Prize giving ceremony at MoTAO restaurant
  • Number of Races: The intention of Race Committee is to run 3 races back to back per each fleet.

Full results can be found here.
