Entries are now open and the Notice of Race is live for the 52nd Australian Hobie Cat National Championships, hosted by McCrae Yacht Club this 24/25 New Year period.

It's the news we've been waiting for folks! The Australian Hobie Family is well and truly on their way to Victoria for the 52nd Australian Championships, taking place on the shores of Port Phillip Bay at the widely renowned, McCrae Yacht Club.

Having hosted a number of World, National and State level events, along with the annual Victorian Catamaran Championships (23-24 November '24), McCrae are well accustomed to hosting exceptional regattas, and are well advised on the on/off-water exploits of the Hobie Family.

Series one | 27 - 31, December 2024

  • Hobie 16 Open, Masters, Grand Masters and Great Grand Masters
  • Hobie 18

Series Two | 1 - 5, January 2025

  • Hobie 14 Open, Non-Trapeze, Women & Youth
  • Hobie 14-Turbo
  • Hobie 16 Women & Youth
  • Hobie 17
  • Dragoon, Tiger & Wildcat

The HCAV (and their counterparts across the nation) have been working hard in the background to streamline our administration, so we're using revSPORT for entries this year.

Entry fees can be paid by card (transaction fees apply) or by bank transfer (fee-free). For those opting to transfer, an invoice will be issued to the email address provided at registration. Please quote the invoice number and the skipper's surname as your transfer reference.

There's a significant incentive to get your entries in ASAP to avoid the price hike! Those who read the Notice of Race will have seen the graduated entry fees, with early entry discount ending 31 September.

See the Notice of Race for further information.

Team VIC can't wait to see you in December!
