Set sail for the world-renowned 2025 Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta and the 2024/2025 Bacardi Winter Series. Our online entry is officially open!

Staged on the stunning waters of Biscayne Bay and framed by the city of Miami, there is no better place to experience a unique blend of exhilarating racing and legendary Bacardi hospitality. With Miami's sub-tropical weather providing a perfect backdrop, racing teams can look forward to daily happy hours, entertainment and live music after the races.

Bacardi's events unite professionals and amateurs, attracting a star-studded line-up of legendary sailors alongside weekend racers who return year after year. Biscayne Bay, renowned as one of the world's most beautiful yet demanding races courses, regularly draws over 200 teams and more than 600 sailors to the Bacardi Cup Invitational Regatta (BCIR).

The two-event Bacardi Winter Series for the J/70 and Melges 24 in December 2024 and January 2025, sets the stage for the finale in March 2025. The 98th Bacardi Cup will attract Star sailors from around the world, with the BCIR hosting top one-design classes from March 2-8, 2025.

Bacardi Cup

The Bacardi Cup is the flagship of Bacardi's sailing legacy. Since 1927, Bacardi has celebrated its partnership with the world of Star Class sailing, forging one of the sport's most enduring alliances.

The Bacardi Cup attracts the world's best Star Class sailors, who take on the challenge of the six-day series in their quest for glory. If you are ready for six days of unparalleled Star Class racing and revelry - you are ready for the 98th Bacardi Cup!

In 2024, Mateusz Kusnierewicz/Bruno Prada secured their fifth win in a row at the 97th Bacardi Cup. Their exceptional teamwork has placed them as custodians for five straight years -2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Teams from around the world will converge on Miami for the 98th Bacardi Cup, all vying to secure their names on the coveted Bacardi Cup and Tito Bacardi Cup trophies.

Bacardi Winter Series and BCIR

The 2024/2025 Bacardi Winter Series kicks off proceedings for the Melges 24 and J/70 Classes. The series opens with BWS 1 from December 14-15, 2024, followed up by BWS 2 on January 24-26, 2025. The series will culminate at the season finale during the BCIR.

Taking place from March 5-8, the BCIR features nine races over three days for the J/70, Melges 24, Snipe, VX One, and Viper 640 classes. The short-format races are fast and intense, with unique keeper trophies and special awards up for grabs.
