Unveiling The New Pro-Ratchet 40

We are thrilled to announce our latest product update the Pro-Ratchet 40, a high-performance 40mm ratchet block featuring an all-new aluminium sheave which provides exceptional grip and control like never before.

The New Pro-Ratchet 40 is our first ratchet block to feature an aluminium sheave which has been designed to offer additional grip on the rope, allowing for greater control of your sheets in all conditions. So, whether trimming the spinnaker sheet in a gust or fine-tuning your jib, the Pro-Ratchet 40 is built to perform.

But this isn't just about grip!

Its about giving you confidence on the water. The anodised aluminium sheave is lightweight yet incredibly strong, ensuring you have a product you can rely on to give you long-lasting performance time and time again. With its sleek, compact design, the Pro-Ratchet 40 is ideal for sailors who demand the best from their gear.

Proven and Tested

To ensure the highest standards of durability and performance, the Pro-Ratchet 40 has undergone rigorous lifecycle and real-world testing. We subjected the Pro-Ratchet 40 to extensive load cycles, extreme weather conditions, and saltwater exposure to guarantee its resilience against corrosion and wear during development. With a tested breaking load of 600 kg and a maximum working load of 180 kg, you can trust that this ratchet block is built to last, delivering reliable performance season after season, no matter where your sailing adventures take you.

Extreme Holding Power

During development and testing, we pitted our new Pro-Ratchet 40 against a handful of the bestselling 40-55mm ratchet blocks available on the market. The Pro-Ratchet 40 outperformed all of them when using a 6mm line. Compared to the others in our test, the Pro-Ratchet 40 had 0.75x more grip than the next grippiest model and a whopping 1.96x grip compared to the least grippiest in our test.
