The Lake Ontario 300 Challenge is an exciting 300-mile race that challenges any team on the wild and woolly Lake Ontario. As usual, the sailors saw a lot of reaching, running, and beating as they sailed the triangular course around Lake Ontario.
In the PHRF Doublehanded A Division, Ard Van Leeuwen's J/112E High Tea snagged the silver medal with a time of 2 days, 13 hrs, 33 mins.
In the PHRF A Division were three J/Teams. Robert DeWitte's J/100 PERSPECTIVE took the bronze medal in a corrected time of 2 days, 13 hrs, 3 mins.
Winning the PHRF B Division was Dave Ogryyzio's J/105 TRUE BLUE with a corrected time of 2 days, 10 hrs, 58 mins. That time was also good enough to win the Lake Ontario 300 Overall in the PHRF Division!
