by Sail Newport 10 May 02:52 NZST May 16, 2024

After two live shows sold out in a matter of hours, Sail Newport will now livestream The Cole Brauer event on Thursday, May 16, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (EST) (GMT-4) courtesy of North Sails.

On March 7, 2024, Sailor Cole Brauer crossed the finish line in the Global Solo Challenge and made history. After 27,000+ nautical miles of racing on her 40' monohull, past the Three Great Capes of Africa, Australia, and South America, 130 days at sea, overcoming treacherous weather, mountainous waves, screaming gales, icebergs, frigid waters, a rib injury, and much more, she became the first American woman to race solo nonstop around the world!

The livestream will be broadcast from the Jane Pickens Theater in Newport. Online registration is required. A link will be sent to each registrant 24 hours before the start of the show.
