Yacht Club Italiano is pleased to announce its Race Programme 2023, which will include all the traditional events as well as a few new ones.

In August the World Championship will take place in Genoa for the 8M SI, the class to which YCI assigned the glorious Coppa d'Italia back in 1908.

The season's most important event will be the Rolex Giraglia, now at its 70th Edition, in June: Sanremo/Saint-Tropez, three days inshore racing in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, to finish on a high note with the offshore leg to Genoa.

The Regate di Primavera a Portofino are back, again in the successful invitational format, with some of the best-known Italian boat manufacturers promoting the participation of their models.

Yacht racing will stretch over nine months, from February to October.

Presentation of the YCI Race Programme 2023

"We are looking to a new exciting year of racing" says Gerolamo Bianchi, President of Yacht Club Italiano. "As a team, we have developed a challenging race programme for next year that will reach its apex in June with the 70th Edition of the Rolex Giraglia. A great achievement and a show of longevity which is constantly stimulating us to innovate and always do our best, whether it is a simple get-together at sea or a world championship. This race programme is the outcome of our commitment, for which I thank our team, our partners, and the sailors who faithfully race, year after year, our events."
