Challenger of Record for the 36th America's Cup, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli have released a new video showing the preparation of their new test yacht modelled on the AC75, whose launch was announced for August 25.
The Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli test yacht is not to the full 38ft permitted under the Protocol for the 36th America's Cup. It shows it in stable flight being sailed by a crew of three.
The video notable for its style rather than information features some new sailing video of their prototype sailing from the teams base in Cagliari, Sardinia.
Several of the teams have indicated to Sail-World that AC75 launch dates may slide even later, due to further delays, not believed to be significant, in the delivery of the carbon foiling arms - meaning more sailing time in the test boats of which three of the five teams now sail.
