The wind was light following storms on Lake Garda for the opening day of the Dart 18 Worlds. The 123 entries eventually managed to finish one race after two hours of racing and the second race was abandoned. Winners of the first race were Daniel Norman and Melanie Rogers (GBR).

On day two conditions allowed two races to be completed. The first was won by Gareth Owen and Will Thompson (GBR) with the South African team, Ben Mienie and Ryan Robinson second and Norman and Rogers in third place.

In the second race of the day, David Lloyd and Catherin Farthing (GBR) won, with Emmanuel Dode and Billy Besson of France in second. Norman and Rogers finished in fourth to lead the series after three races completed.
